Edaphic, troglophilous and guanophilous species, widely distributed in central and southern Europe. In the Iberian Peninsula it has been cited in the northern zone ( Jordana et al. 1997) and in caves in Andalusia ( Arbea 2013), Navarra ( Jordana & Beruete 1983, Arbea & Jordana 1991, Jordana et al. 1997, Beruete et al. 2002) and Zuberoa-Soule ( Thibaud 1977).
