Litobrenthia Diakonoff, 1978a: 28 View in CoL . Type species: Brenthia japonica Issiki, 1930 View in CoL .

This genus differs from Brenthia Clemens, 1860 View in CoL in having the Rs 1 and Rs 2 stalked (separated in Brenthia View in CoL ) in the forewings. The host-plants of the larvae, whenever known, belong to Fagaceae View in CoL . Litobrenthia View in CoL currently includes 16 species occurring in the East Asia and Asian tropics ( Liu et al., 2016).
