Phortica (Allophortica) chingolaensis Chen & Máca View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs 1–3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 )

Diagnosis. This species is similar to P. sexpunctata (Séguy, 1938) from Kenya in the male terminalia, but can be differentiated from it by having the surstylus strongly protruded basally ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ), the paramere basally bifurcated: outer lobe strongly sclerotized, apically hooked, basally with 3 acute projections ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ), and the median rod of aedeagus with tripartite processes basally ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 , aed pr).

Description. Frons brown above, yellow below, with a few thin, sparse interfrontal setae. Pedicel yellow; first flagellomere grayish yellow. Face entirely yellow; facial carina slightly protruded above. Clypeus yellow medially, darkened laterally. Thorax yellowish brown, with dark brown patches and pollinose pattern. Scutellum brownish, with 2 black patches; subscutellum not protruded. Legs yellow, with black patch on each femur and 3 dark brown rings on each tibia. Abdominal first tergite yellow, with 2 brown patches submedially; second tergite yellowish, with 2 triangular black patches sublaterally; third to fifth tergites yellowish, each with medially and laterally protruded black band on posterior margin, and a pair of yellowish patches near lateral margins; sixth tergite broadly black, narrowly yellow along posterior margin. Male terminalia: Epandrium lacking pubescence anteroventrally, with 7 setae on dorsal to posterolateral portion per side ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ). Surstylus with dense pubescence and ca. 9 thick setae basally, with 1 regular row of ca. 15 prensisetae apically ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ). Vertical process of gonopods slightly broadened and protruded apicomedially ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ). Aedeagus: median rod broadened and slightly sclerotized ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ); outer membrane developed.
