Remark. Daniel (1952) erroneously recorded this species from eastern continental China as Lyclene (Asura) undulosa ( Walker, 1854) . The true Miltochrista undulosa ( Figs 32, 33 View FIGURES 23–34 , 53 View FIGURES 52–54 ) is clearly different from members of Huangilene in its coloration and genitalia structures.

Diagnosis. Forewing length is 9–10 mm in males and 11–12 mm in females. Huangilene kutzscheri sp. n. is very similar externally to H. pseudolutara , H. kepica and H. odontotilepida sp. n., but, however, males of the new species can be easily recognized by the yellow distal part of abdomen, which is covered with blackish hair-like scales in the three similar species. The male genital capsule of the new species differs from those of other congeners by the strongly elongate distal membranous lobe of valva. In addition, compared to those of the most similar H. pseudolutara , the male genitalia of H. kutzscheri sp. n. have the more elongate distal saccular process, narrower aedeagus, conspicuously broader distal chamber of aedeagus vesica, and conspicuously smaller distal diverticulum. The female genitalia of H. kutzscheri sp. n. differ from those of H. pseudolutara by the narrower ductus bursae, broader, more globular corpus bursae, smaller spines at the junction of the corpus bursae with ductus bursae, more heavily scobinated anterior section of corpus bursae, and membranous basal section of appendix bursae (in H. pseudolutara that is sclerotized).

Distribution. The new species is found from eastern continental China (Zhejiang Province) ( Daniel 1952, as Lyclene (Asura) undulosa , part) and the island of Taiwan.

Etymology. The species is named after Mr Christian Kutzscher (SDEI, Müncheberg, Germany), who kindly located the unlabeled syntypes of Asura obsoleta Form alikangiae Strand, 1917 , what helped us to separate the Taiwanese populations of the new species from the sympatric H. alikangiae .
