LABRADOR: Wahnahnish Lake near Wabush, 15-17.VII.1981, M. Colbo and D.J. Larson, (1, MUN). NEWFOUNDLAND: Kittys Brook, 18.VIII.1949, E. Palmen, (1, MZHF) ; St. Barbe , 26.VII.1949, E. Palmen, (1, MZHF) .

Leiodes strigata is newly recorded in Labrador and Newfoundland ( Fig. 4 View Fig ). It was found in meadows along small roads or trails in deciduous forests and also in litter along a creek in a mixed forest ( Baranowski 1993).
