Agathidium atronitens is newly recorded in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Atlantic Canada ( Fig. 6 View Fig ). It was recorded from both deciduous and coniferous forests. There is a single host record from Trametes versicolor (Fr.) Pil. (Polyporaceae) ( Miller and Wheeler 2005).
