Agathidium rubellum is newly recorded in New Brunswick. It was reported from Nova Scotia by Miller and Wheeler (2005) ( Fig. 7 View Fig ). It was found in eastern hardwood forests in leaf and log litter. There are host records from Tubifera ferruginea ( Miller and Wheeler 2005) . Specimens in Nova Scotia were collected in red spruce, eastern hemlock, and deciduous forests.
