Distribution. China (Xizang).

Diagnosis. This new species resembles A. (A.) trochaula Meyrick, 1938 in the forewing pattern. It differs from A. (A.) trochaula in having the forewing ground color dark green with a white thorax lacking a longitudinal central streak. In A. (A.) trochaula the forewing ground color is blackish fuscous, and the yellowish white thorax has a longitudinal central black streak. In the male genitalia, the new species differs in the gnathos lacking a long, thick apical seta; whereas the gnathos of A. (A.) trochaula has such a seta.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Greek prefix chlor -, meaning green, referring to the dark green ground color of the forewing.
