Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1986 as Apion apricans ), East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion apricans ; Legalov et al. 2010), Northern provinces ( Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion apricans ).
General distribution. Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Ukraine.
Plant associations in Iran. Anthemis sp. ( Asteraceae ) ( Modarres Awal 1986), clover ( Farahbakhsh 1961), bean, lucerne ( Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997, 2012), sainfoin, weeds and sometimes on wheat ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012).
