Distribution in Iran. Alborz ( Sanaei & Seiedy 2015, 2017), Ardabil (Moderres Awal 1986 as Apion loti ), East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012; Legalov et al. 2010).
General distribution. Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mongolia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Ukraine and introduced in North America.
Plant associations in Iran. Lucerne, sainfoin ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012), Fabaceae ( Sanaei & Seiedy 2017) .
