Types: Male holotype, JAPAN: (Ar. 3905), with label: Shimo-kajiwara (32.20°N, 130.50°E), Itsukimura, Kuma-gun, Kumamato Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan, coll. Teruo Irie, 27.x.1981 ( NSMT). One male and two female paratypes, same data as holotype ( NSMT) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis: The male palp of S. reflexilis is similar to that S. melloteei ; both of them have a long, slender ribbon-like second branch of lamella characteristica with a forked apex, but S. reflexilis can be distinguished from the latter species by the bending spikeshaped third branch of lamella characteristica and by the large triangular-shaped posterior terminal apophysis. The short and wide epigynum, with a rectangular epigynal collar, is diagnostic.
