Type locality: Santa Catalina Mountains, Sabino Basin , Arizona, United States.
Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white paper: “Sabino Basin, | St, [Santa] Catalina Mts. , | Ariz. [Arizona] July 8-20,`16 [8-20 July 1916]”; (2) printed on white paper: “32022`N. | 110th 46.5`W. | About 3800 ft ”; (3) printed on yellow paper: “ PARATYPE | Mydas | lividus | Curran”.
Preservation: Pinned; Missing parts: left tibia of leg III and right tarsus of leg III.
