Type material. Holotype. China: Male, Xizang, Motuo, Beibeng , vi-1-2019, Libin Ma coll. ( SNNU) . Paratypes. 2 males & 2 females, same information as holotype.
Description. Male. Body size small. Head small, slightly wider than the anterior of pronotum. Rostrum slightly wider than antennal scape. Ocelli oval-like, median ocellus smallest of the three. Eyes rather large. Postclypeus transverse wide, anteclypeus concave medially. Apical joint of maxillary palpi slightly longer than the third, depressed and widened, with rounded apex; apical joint of labial palpi rod-like, longer than remainder sections combined, depressed and widened. Pronotum transverse wide, trapezoid; anterior margin straight and the posterior somewhat convex, posterior margin wider than the anterior, middle of both lateral edges slightly concave. Tegmen bearing an oblique vein and three chord veins. Dividing vein transverse and separating mirror as front and hind cells. Apical region degraded, lateral region bearing four Sc branches. Hind wings extremely long, about two times longer than tegmen. Fore tibia only possessing external tympanum, elongate oval-like. Hind tibia bearing four dorsal spurs outside and three inside, and the first of the inside stubby and far away from others; and three apical spurs inside and outside two, of the outside, the first basal one expanded, rather long.
Genitalia. In dorsal view, middle part of epiphallus deeply concave, lateral lobe inward curved and covered by upper part of ectoparamere. In ventral view, ectoparamere shaped as crab pincer and pointed inward.
Female. Similar to male in structure and coloration, but veins are different. Primary veins almost paralleled. Ovipositor blade shape.
Coloration. Head greyish brown. Fourth segment of maxillary palpi colored white and the remainder ones dark brown. Pronotum yellowish brown. Wings brown. Legs yellowish brown.
Measurements (mm). Male (n=3). BL 5.31±0.77, HW 1.49±0.26, PL 1.12±0.21, TL 3.10±0.44, HFL 3.45±0.68. Female (n=2). BL 4.69±0.74, HW 1.48±0.15, PL 1.16±0.11, TL 1.90±0.26, OL 1.98±0.21.
Etymology. The name refers to the new species which seems to bear appearance of the genus Pteronemobius .
