Materials examined. China: 3 males, Yunnan, Mengla, Yaoqu , v-25-2013, Libin Ma coll. ( SNNU) .

Description. Male. Body size small. Head large, vertex somewhat inclined and bearing setae. Rostrum protruded and slightly wider than antennal scape. Median ocellus smallest of the three, lateral ocelli round. Eyes rather large. Postclypeus convex at the middle and anteclypeus concave medially. Labral apex medially and broadly concave. Apical joint of maxillary palpi slightly longer than the third, depressed and widened, with rounded apex; apical joint of labial palpi rod-like, longer than remainder sections, depressed and widened. Pronotum transverse wide, trapezoid; anterior margin straight and the posterior somewhat convex, posterior margin wider than the anterior, and middle of both lateral edges slightly concave. Tegmen bearing an oblique vein and three chord veins. Apical region degraded, lateral region bearing four Sc branches. Fore tibia only possessing external tympanum, elongate oval-like. Hind tibia bearing four dorsal spurs inside and three ones outside; and hind tibia bearing three apical spurs respectively.

Genitalia. Elongate, ectoparamere bearing a small protuberance medially and median lobe longer than ectoparamere.

Female. Similar to male but wings short, somewhat exceeding the middle of abdomen; dorsal area of elytra bearing six paralleled longitudinal veins and lateral area bearing four. Ovipositor long, straight and apically thin.

Coloration. Body brown. Vertex and occiput yellowish brown, occiput ornamented with six brown stripes; antennal colored brown, two basal joints colored dark brown; three basal joints of maxillary palpi colored dark brown and apical two white. Pronotum yellowish brown, lateral edges dark. Tegmen colored brown.

Measurements (mm). Male (n=3). BL 7.22±0.86, HW 2.13±0.42, PL 1.57±0.65, TL 4.47±0.74, HFL 5.21±0.93. Female (n=2). BL 7.57±1.03, HW 2.30±0.51, PL 1.66±0.63, TL 4.06±1.28, HFL 5.64±1.45, OL 4.06±0.88.

Genus Erexitonemobius He & Ma , gen. n.

( Figs. 16–18 View FIGURE 16 View FIGURE 17 View FIGURE 18 )

Type species: Erexitonemobius bellus View in CoL sp. n., here designated.

Diagnosis. Body size small. Tegmen bearing an oblique vein and three chord veins. Apical region degraded, lateral region bearing four Sc branches. Fore tibia only possessing external tympanum, oval-like. Hind tibia bearing three dorsal spurs outside and four inside, two basal ones of the inside stubby; apical spurs three on both sides respectively; of the outside, basal part of the first expanded, rather long. Male genitalia ( Fig. 18 View FIGURE 18 ): epiphallic median lobe narrower than lateral lobe, lateral lobe extremely extrude and exceeding ectoparamere. Ectoparamere shaped as crab pincer and pointed inward.

Etymology. The name refers to female’s tegmen.

Included species. Type species only.

Comparison. Erexitonemobius is very similar to Polionemobius in body shape, color and number of spurs on hind tibia, but it is very different in the male genitalia. It differs from other genera of Nemobiinae in the morphology of the male genitalia and female’s distinctly convex tegmen.
