New material
Kachin State: Namdee Hill, 11.4.2003, 2 ♂♂ (MA030411:8/18).
Previous records from Myanmar Mon State and Mandalay Division are included in Bates et al. (2004 b).
Comments
Measurements are included in Tables 1 View TABLE and 2. The diagnostic characters, including the greater length of the tibiae and of
the second phalanx of the third digits, by which R. stheno can be distinguished from R . malayanus, are discussed in detail in Bates et al. (2000 and 2004 b). First collect- ed in November, 2002, this appears to be a less common species than R. malayanus in Myanmar. The recent record from Kachin State extends its range nearly 250 km to the north in Myanmar. It is also the most north- ern locality for this species from throughout its range in Southeast Asia ( Csorba et al., 2003).
