Key to species (based on males) of the genus Odocnemis from the Levant region and Cyprus

1. Elytra without distinct tubercles.............................................................. O. intrusicollis

2. Elytra dorsally pubescent at apex. Metatibiae S-shaped in lateral view and C-shaped in frontal view; inner side of metatibiae depressed and covered with very dense long suberected hairs............................................ O. valga

– Elytra bare at apex (but epipleura can be setose). Metatibia straight; inner side of metatibiae with simple recumbent hairs.. 3

3. Pro- and mesotrochanters with acute projected tooth. Apical piece of aedeagus curved upward, with ball-like thickening at apex................................................................................... O. evae sp. nov.

– Pro- and mesotrochanters simple, without tooth. Apical piece of aedeagus straight or weakly bent, flattened at apex or with only small flattened thickness on dorsal side.................................................................... 4

5.
