Citada de la provincia (CALLE, 1982). En Sierra Morena, orugas sobre Q. ilex y Q. faginea , de marzo a mayo ( LUQUE MOHEDANO, 2002; EXTREMERA et al., 2004; PÉREZ GUERRERO et al., 2008; JUNTA DE ANDALUCÍA, 2011a, d). Defoliador importante que probablemente interviene en el síndrome de la seca ( NAVARRO CERRILLO & FERNÁNDEZ REBOLLO, 2000; LUQUE et al., 2003). El histórico trabajo de SEYRIG (1926) recoge un parasitoide larvario.
