Distribution: Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Gruzia, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
This species is a common species in Jordan. Wings are completely hyaline, although it is unusual for Thyridanthrax species to have completely hyaline wings. Sama As Sarhan specimens differ in having the dorsal surface of thorax and abdomen with yellowbrown scales and shiny bristles and are smaller in size than other individuals.
