( Figs 10, 11 View Figures 1–15 , 54, 55 View Figures 54–57 )
Type material. Holotype ( Figs 10 View Figures 1–15 , 54 View Figures 54–57 ): male, “ XII.2012, | South Vietnam, | Lâm Đồng Province , | Lạc DƯƠng District , | Tây Nguyên Highlands , | Bidoup Nui-Ba NP, | local collector leg.” / “ Slide | AV7397 ♂ | A. Volynkin ” ( WIGJ, ex CAV).
Paratype. VIETNAM: male, the same locality and collector as in the holotype but X.2012, gen. prep. No.: AV1596 ♂ ( CAV) .
Diagnosis. The forewing length is 10.0 mm in males. Miltochrista soloma sp. n. ( Figs 10, 11 View Figures 1–15 ) is externally reminiscent of the sympatric M. nuiba sp. n. ( Figs 4–6 View Figures 1–15 ) and M. parallelinaformis ( Figs 12 View Figures 1–15 ) and differs from the former species in the somewhat broader forewing with a paler salmon pink ground colour and a less oblique medial line, and from the latter species in the thinner forewing markings. The male genitalia structure of the new species ( Figs 54, 55 View Figures 54–57 ) is clearly different from M. nuiba sp. n. ( Fig. 52 View Figures 50–53 ) and M. parallelinaformis ( Fig. 57 View Figures 54–57 ) and is most similar to the externally different M. flavorosea Bucsek, 2020 ( Figs 13–15 View Figures 1–15 , 56 View Figures 54–57 ) but distinguished by the markedly larger medial dorsal crest of the uncus, the larger coecum, the smaller subbasal dorsal diverticulum of the phallus vesica, the larger lateral cornutus, and the narrower distal diverticulum.
The female is unknown.
Distribution. Vietnam (Lâm Đồng Province).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Greek ‘σολομός’ meaning ‘a salmon’ and refers to the salmon pink forewing colouration. The name is a noun in the nominative singular in apposition to the generic name.
