SUBGENUS LAMPROCORIS S. STR.

Lamprocoris (subgenus): Stål (1873): 22 (synopsis), Schouteden (1904): 28 (diagnosis, catalogue), Kirkaldy (1909): 301 (catalogue, distribution), Göllner-Scheiding (2006): 197 (catalogue, Palaearctic), Tsai et al. (2011): 176 (diagnostic characters, distribution), Aukema et al. (2013): 435 (catalogue, Palaearctic).

DIAGNOSIS: Relatively small (8.5–11 mm), brilliant metallic green-blue species with black markings on pronotum and scutellum ( Figs. 1 , 2 ). They differ from the subgenus Sophela in the following characters: humeri unarmed; basal tumescence of scutellum delimited posteriorly by a distinct transverse furrow; abdominal ventrites weakly tumescent laterally.
