According to Jelinek and Audisio (2007), this common and widespread species is mainly distributed across Europe, Russia (Far East and west Siberia), Korea, Japan, Mongolia and North American ( Kirejtshuk 1992). Here it is reported from China (Inner Mongolia) for the first time.
