Etymology. The epithet is a noun in apposition that honors Sie, the goddess of water, in the Muisca mythology, indigenous people that inhabited the region where the species was found, in the central Andean highlands of the present-day Colombia's Eastern Range

Diagnosis. Males of A. sie sp. nov. can be easily distinguished from those of the remaining species of the genus by their long, three pointed RTA ( Figs 9a–b View FIGURES 9 , 21j–k View FIGURES 21 ). Females are similar to those of A. mae sp. nov., A. somondoco sp. nov. and A. sua sp. nov. by their general disposition of internal structures of the epigyne, but can be distinguished by their shorter copulatory ducts, with pear-shaped spermathecae, larger epigynal plate with anteromedial copulatory openings and a posterior single medial pocket (po) ( Figs 9c–d View FIGURES 9 , 24f, 24l View FIGURES 24 ).

Description. Male (holotype). Total length: 2.60. Carapace yellowish brown with a lighter dorsal and posterior mark, 1.53 long, 0.93 wide, 0.72 high ( Fig. 17f View FIGURES 17 ). OC black, 0.60 long. Anterior eye row 0.98 wide and posterior 0.89 wide. Sternum yellow, 0.57 long, 0.45 wide. Labium yellow, 0.14 long, 0.20 wide. Chelicerae yellow with three retromarginal and two promarginal teeth. Palp yellowish brown with distal femur and patellae with long white hairs, with a long and three-pointed RTA, and long tegular lobe (TL) ( Figs 9a–b View FIGURES 9 , 21j–k View FIGURES 21 ). Legs 4312, all yellowish brown. Leg macrosetae: femur, I–II, IV d 1 di; III d 2 di; tibia, I v 2-2 -2; II v 1-2 -1, p 1 di; III–IV 1 -0-1, p 1-0-1, r 1-0-1; metatarsus, I–II v 2-2; III v 1 -0-1, p 1-0-2, r 1-0-2; IV v 1 -0-1, p 1-0-2, r 1-1-2. Abdomen dehydrated, but gray in color ( Fig. 17f View FIGURES 17 ).

Female (paratype, ICN–Ar 8255). Total length 4.42. Carapace yellow with two posterior dark brown longitudinal stripes, 1.88 long, 1.31 wide, 0.99 high ( Fig. 17g View FIGURES 17 ). OC dark brown, 0.74 long. Anterior eye row 1.27 wide and posterior 1.20 wide. Sternum yellow, 0.79 long, 0.63 wide. Labium yellow, 0.20 long, 0.25 wide. Chelicerae yellow, with four retromarginal and two promarginal teeth. Legs 4312, all yellow, III–IV with dark brown patches on tibiae–tarsi. Leg macrosetae: femur, I–IV d 1 di; patellae, III–IV r 1 me; tibiae, I v 2-2 -2; II v 2- 2 -2, p 1 di; III v 1 pr, p 1-0-1, r 1-0-1; IV v 1 pr, p 1-0-1, r 1-1-0; metatarsus, I–II v 2-2; III v 2 -0-1, p 1-0-2, r 1-0- 2; IV v 1 di, p 1-0-2, r 1-0-2. Abdomen brown with a gray longitudinal stripe ( Fig. 17g View FIGURES 17 ). Epigyne ( Figs 9c–d View FIGURES 9 , 24f, 24l View FIGURES 24 ) with anterior and medial copulatory openings, long copulatory ducts, a posterior single medial pocket, and medial slender pear-shaped spermathecae.

Variation (n= 2 females). Total length 4.34–4.42. Carapace length 1.88–1.91.

Comments. The type material was collected in a pitfall trap in an intervened Andean Ecosystem.

Distribution. Colombia (Cundinamarca) ( Fig. 27 View FIGURE 27 ). Known altitudinal distribution: 3090 m.
