Notes for A. kamali and G. indica . The morphology of the specimens of A. kamali agrees with the descriptions of Noyes & Hayat (1994) and Shafee et al. (1975). Some key features in the identification of A. kamali and G. indica females are highlighted by Evans et al. (2012) and Montes (2012). The coloration of the antennal segments, shape of the scape and venation of the forewing, separate these species from other encyrtids found in the Neotropical region. The distribution of A. kamali extends from the North to the South of the mainland in the departments of Santander and Valle del Cauca, and it is apparently found throughout the range of the PHM in Colombia. Whereas G. indica has not been found south of Bucaramanga, however, this could be due to the lack of collecting effort.
