Diagnosis of Blepharoneura View in CoL View at ENA
Blepharoneura species differ from all other Tephritidae by the following combination of characters: Prementum elongate and strongly convex; palpus not constricted near midlength; thorax with 1–2 postpronotal setae, 3 scutellar setae, and 3 anepisternal setae, including 1 just anterior to phragma on dorsal fourth; and vein Cu 1 setulose dorsally.
