phyracephala succini (Loew, 1873) View in CoL found also in Bitterfeld and Céreste ( Schumann, 1994; Lutz, 1985) and Prosphyracephala kerneggeri Kotrba, 2009 ( Kotrba, 2009) ; old records of ‘amber’ insects in Oligocene sedimentary deposits are usually referred to misidentifications, hence the Céreste record is of special importance. Prosphyracephala rubiensis Lewis, 1971 View in CoL known from the Mormon Creek (Ruby River, the upper part of the Upper Eocene of Montana ( Lewis, 1971; McHugh, 2003).
