Literature records:
Zelený (1964): Osumi River: Poliçani.
Remarks:
When Zelený (1964) identified Albanian specimens, a similar species, Myrmeleon noacki Ohm, 1965 , had not yet been described. Therefore, some confusion between these 2 taxa could be possible.
Zoogeographical categorization:
Siberian element.
