Eurina rugosa Nartshuk, 1964: 322 View in CoL
Described from Kazakhstan and recorded from Iran this species has the hind femur narrower than is usual amongst species of Platycephala View in CoL . The larva develops in Phragmites australis View in CoL . At my request Dr. Nartshuk kindly dissected a female rugosa View in CoL and found it to be monoovariolate. The male terminalia as figured in the original description and later by Andersson (1977: 128) are very similar to those of scapularum View in CoL .
