Material examined: 1 ♂, India: Himachal Pradesh, Nauni , 30°51’38”N 77°10’27”E, 09.VI.2014, Hg light, Naresh M. Meshram ( NPC) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis: Pygofer slightly longer than height, group of short setae covering membranous area posteriorly, patch of long microsetae present subapically on posterior margin. Pygofer process long, exceeding pygofer, directed postero-dorsally, tapered gradually, apex beak like directed ventrally, dorsally directed spine near sub apex ( Fig. 7A View FIGURE 7 ). Subgenital plate triangular, broad basally, tapered towards apex with lateral uniseriate macrosetae ( Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ). Style well developed, with reduced apophysis. Connective Y-shaped. Aedeagus elongate, gradually narrowing towards apex, apex acute, dorsal apodeme well developed, gonopore apical ( Fig. 7E View FIGURE 7 ).
Remarks: This species is identified based on the descriptions and illustrations of Shah & Duan (2019). Earlier recorded from only Pakistan ( Shah et al., 2019) but now recorded from India for the first time.
