Etymology. The new speccies is named in honor of Dr. Mark L. I. Judson who contributed to the phylogeny and paleobiology of the superfamily Cheiridioidea .

Type material. Holotype ( MLP 36246), apparently adult based on the sclerotization, and probably a male based on the morphology of the galea. Preserved in a single amber sample collected from the Hukawng Valley of Kachin Province, northern Myanmar; lowermost Cenomanian, mid-Cretaceous ( Grimaldi et al., 2002, Shi et al., 2012).

Type locality. Hukawng Valley southwest of Maingkhwan in Kachin

Diagnosis. Same as the genus.
