Emended diagnosis. Pseudocerotidae with a dorsal surface covered with blunt or oblong pointed papillae which may be contractile. Pseudotentacles, marginal and cerebral eyes present, with separate gonopores, male reproductive system double, with seminal vesicle and armed penis papilla, and single female reproductive system.
