Charaphloeus undescribed species

(nr. adustus )

NOVA SCOTIA: Colchester Co.: Debert , 25.VII.1996, J. Ogden, (1, NSNR) .

This undescribed species is newly recorded in Canada ( Fig. 1 ). Blatchley (1910) reported this species on beech ( Fagus grandifolia Ehrh. , Fagaceae ) logs (Th omas 1993). This undescribed species can be identified with the keys in Downie and Arnett (1996: 1001).
