Centaurea uysalii Şirin & Çeçen (2019: 810) View in CoL . Type:— TURKEY. C4 Karaman: Çakırdağı, between Kavurgalık GoogleMaps hill and Pelitli GoogleMaps stream, rocky area, 1270–1390 m, 37° 23′ 11″ N, 33° 29′ 26″ E, 1 May 2018, Şirin & Çeçen 733 (holotype KNYA!, isotype ANK).

Distribution: — Cyanus uysalii is a very rare endemic of Karaman Province, S Turkey. It is only known from the type locality in Çakırdağı ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 ).
