Xanthosomodes albiangulatus Brèthes 1913: 107 . Holotype, female, by monotypy.
Type material. The pinned specimen is point mounted ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 7 – 12. 7 ) and labeled: “10537/Bs. Aires, Palermo/ Xanthosomodes albiangulatus Br. [all handwritten except first line of second label].” The left antenna beyond the pedicel is missing and the right wings and antennae are slide mounted, labeled: “Xanthosomodes albiangulatus Br., Tipo ! 168, 10537” handwritten on the left side and a typed “ X 1 ” tag on the upper right ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 6. 1 ). The slide mounted specimen parts were not cleared, the mounting medium has mostly evaporated, and the cover slip sealant is cracked and dried.
