(Mount Lebanon); 26M and 30F, Qaroun, West Beqaa (Beqaa Valley); 2M and 4F, Saofar, Aley Co. (Mount Lebanon); 1M and 3F, Bhamdoun, Aley Co. (Mount Lebanon); 2M and 2F, Seraal, Zgharta Co. (North Lebanon); 1M and 3F, Ehden, Zgharta Co. (North Lebanon). ex C. iberica var. meryonis : 4M and 7F, Jamhour, Baabda Co. (Mount Lebanon); 2M, Ainab, Aley Co. (Mount Lebanon); 1M and 1F, Deir El Qamar, Chouf Co. (Mount Lebanon).
Chaetorellia conjuncta was reared from Centaurea iberica and Carthamus tenuis , a new but unusual host for this species. The distribution of this tephritid in Asia comprises Cyprus, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan ( White and Marquardt, 1989).
