Ecology. Endogeic species. One record in a floodplain ( Graff 1953a), one in a vineyard ( Schruft 1982) and two records in human settlements ( Groth & Irmler 2012).

Zoogeographical distribution type. Western European distribution: Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Spain ( Rota 2014: Fauna Europaea).

Distribution in Germany. Northern Germany ( Groth & Irmler 2012); southern Germany ( Schruft 1982); western Germany ( Graff 1953a; Schulte et al. 1989); found also 2014 in a fallow in a vineyard area in North-Rhine Westphalia (S. Krück, unpublished data).
