Ecology. Anecic species, mainly in coniferous and deciduous forest soils, tolerating low pH-values ( Zachariae 1967; Lamparski 1985).
Distribution in Germany. Endemic species restricted to the southern part of the Black Forest. Southern Germany ( Zachariae 1967; Bogenrieder 1982; Lamparski 1985; Kobel-Lamparski & Lamparski 1987; Brauckmann 2002).
