Identification. Differing from M. amoena , our material of M. mulsanti includes both males and females. They are clearly longer than the former species, with body length slightly over 3.0 mm, are lighter and yellowish, and have spines on the posterior surface of the middle femur. Males also show 2 tightly packed clusters of stout black spinules on abdominal sternite VIII ( Moreira et al. 2008).
Distribution in the Colombian Caribbean region. Atlántico ( Neering 1954), Cesar (Morales-Castaño et al. 2008), Magdalena ( Floriano et al. 2016), Sucre (this work).
