Doryphoribius dawkinsi Michalczyk & Kaczmarek, 2010
Terra typica: Costa Rica (Central America).
Material examined: One specimen: 400 m S of El Venadito (25°21′03.31′′N, 100°20′45.18′′W, ca. 2090 m asl), Santiago, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Moss on soil, coll. Oscar Ballesteros Medrano, 30 March 2014. Four specimens: Puerto El Gringo (25°23′11.38′′N, 100°12′08.10′′W, ca. 1684 m asl), La Botella, Santiago, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Moss on tree ( Quercus sp.), coll. Mario Alberto Garcia Aranda, 17 January 2015 GoogleMaps .
Comments: Our specimens correspond well with the original description. The species has been found in Costa Rica ( Michalczyk & Kaczmarek 2010), and Kansas, USA ( Spiers et al. 2013). This is a new record for Mexico.
