CALLIGRAPHA , SUBGENUS ZYGOGRAMMA FROM CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

We formalize the taxonomic changes for the Canadian and United States species formerly placed in Zygogramma (treated at genus rank). All of the taxonomic listings below constitute new combinations. The species were formerly placed in Calligrapha , Zygogramma , or even Calligrapha , subgenus Zygospila . However, they were not formerly placed in Calligrapha , subgenus Zygogramma . Calligrapha (Zygogramma) as now defined refers to North American species which mostly use Asteraceae as reproductive hosts.
