Diagnosis. This species is represented by the forewing having several shining white spots above and below fold ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 7 – 10 ); the valva with both costa and succulus produced into large distal processes, the former thumblike, and the latter spiniform; the lateral lobe of juxta asymmetrical, and the phallus having a number of heavily sclerotized spines distally ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17 – 20 ).

Distribution. China (Guizhou, Hong Kong).

Hong Kong distribution and status. Rare, restricted to two populations in secondary forest in the central New Territories; occurs from 50 m to 550 m elevation; flight period: possibly bivoltine, recorded in April, May and September.
