Distribution. AFR_SAR species, known from Saharan Africa (DZ, MR, NE, TD), Horn of Africa (DJ) and southwestern Asia (AE, IR, SA, YE (including Socotra Island) (( Felix et al. 2012; Azadbakhsh et al. 2016).

Life forms and Remarks. ZS(C)EG species. This species was recorded as T. biblis from Riyadh Province by Basilewsky (1979) and the above specimens are new for Asir Province. Adults were collected in all altitudes (1614–2820 m) of GRNR .
