Material examined. GRNR: 1772 m: 18.XI.2015 , LT, 1 ex.

Distribution. AFR_SAR species that is distributed in the Afrotropical region, found in Sahara and Sahel regions of Africa (BF, CV, DJ, DZ, EG, ER, ET, LY, ML, NE, SD, SN, SO, TD) and eastward across southwestern Asia (AE, IQ, IR, KW, LB, OM, QA, SA, YE) to southern Asia (PK).

Life forms and Remarks. ZEWL species. It is reported from Baha ( El-Hawagry et al. 2013) Jizan, Makkah ( Britton 1948), Eastern Province ( Heinertz 1979), and Riyadh ( Heinertz 1979; Abdel-Dayem et al. 2017). This species is new for Asir Province. The species was collected from an Opuntia ficus-indica vegetation community.
