Lebia View in CoL spec.

Material examined. GRNR: 1851 m: 26.IV.2014 , LT, 2 ♀. 1897 m: 26.IV.2014 , LT, 2 ♀ .

Comments. This species was found close to Lebia (L.) zanzibarica Chaudoir, 1878 , in colour and pattern when compared with paratype. But differs by the frons and disc of the pronotum much more coarsely punctured in L. zanzibarica , while in L. spec. the frons is smooth and only sporadic punctured. Also the sculpture of the pronotum is different. Specimens of L. spec. are also compared with nearby Afro-Ethiopian species in the collection of the Tropical Africa Museum, Tervuren, Belgium, and result suggests that these specimens belong to a new species. All specimens examined are females, it is impossible to study the morphology of the male tibia to assign a certain subgenus and we cannot describe it yet, because of the lack of males ( Rasool et al. 2018a).

Life forms and Remarks. ZPLD species. Recently this putative species was reported tentatively from KSA (Asir Province: GRNR), due to lack of male adults. The adult specimens were collected from Opuntia ficus-indica and Olea europaea plant communities of GRNR.
