Truljalia Gorochov, 1985: 89 ; 2002[2001]: 323; Wang & Woo, 1992: 237; Yin & Liu, 1995: 110. Type species. Calyptotrypus citri Bey-Bienko, 1956 .
Generic diagnosis. Body medium sized, green when alive. Head rather small. Scapus wider than frontal rostrum. Pronotum flat, anterior margin distinctly narrower than posterior margin, lateral margins distinctly bordered. Male tegmina rather slender, over apex of abdomen. Tegmen usually present with 6 or 7 oblique veins; mirror welldeveloped, slightly longer than wide, with 1 dividing vein. Fore tibia strongly swollen at tympana; external tympanum ovoid; internal tympanum with a slit-like opening on posterior side. Male supra anal plate divided in middle, each side with an additional lobule on ventral side; subgenital plate almost truncated at posterior margin (Group I); or male supra anal plate undivided in middle, without additional lobules, subgenital plate distinctly emarginated in middle of posterior margin (Group II). The epiphallus small, with a pair of medial lobes and a pair of lateral lobes; endophallus comparatively large and lamellar, vertical to epiphallus; epiphallic parameres long, connected with ectophallus apodeme at base; rami short. Female subgenital plate more or less emarginated in middle of posterior margin; ovipositor irregularly toothed at apex.
Distribution. China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Bhutan, Japan.
