Distribution: Viti Levu: Suva ( McGregor 1950; André 1959), unspecified ( Hinckley 1963), unspecified (intercepted in New Zealand) ( Manson 1967), Koronivia, Nacocolevu, Pacific Harbour ( Gutierrez & Schicha 1984).
Remarks: McGregor (1950) described this species as Tetranychus equatorius which was synonymized with T. neocaledonicus by André (1959).
