Key to Paragryllus subgenera

1. Mirror of the tegmina divided by more than six veins (only P. circularis with five veins); apical area pronounced or moderately reduced. Pseudepiphallic arm mid-sized, branching about at half of its length in lateral view. - Mirror of the tegmina divided by five veins; apical area slightly pronounced ( Fig. 3A View FIGURE 3 ). Pseudepiphallic arm long, branching at the apex in lateral view. Endophallic sclerite reduced ( Figs. 3B–D View FIGURE 3 ).............................. Melloius n. subgen.

2. Small size (15.5 mm). Harp of the tegmina with 4‒5 veins ( Fig. 3E View FIGURE 3 ). Pseudepiphallic lobes without bristles, poorly pronounced. Ectophallic fold protruding markedly in the middle of the pseudepiphallus ( Figs 3F–H View FIGURE 3 ).............. Souzaius n. subgen.
