Lipogomphus lacuniferus Berg, 1879

Lipogomphus lacuniferus Berg, 1879: 287 (original description).

Identification. The genus Lipogomphus has only one species recorded from Brazil: L. lacuniferus ( Moreira et al. 2011) . The only female examined here was compared with the photo provided by Rodrigues et al. (2021c: page 125, Fig. 74), who recently recorded this species from northeastern Brazil. The body color pattern and general morphology are very similar between them, which leads us to identify this female as L. lacuniferus ( Figs. 13G–H ).

Material examined. BRAZIL, Rio Grande do Norte: Ceará-Mirim, Rio Ceará-Mirim , 5°37’50.4”S, 35°25’16.9”W, 03-XI-2018, R . P. R. Canejo, A.L. Melo leg. (1♀ macropterous CEAAVF) .
