Parascela rugipennis ( Tan, 1988) (comb. nov.)
( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13–18 )
Basilepta rugipennis Tan, 1988: 166
Parascela tuberosa Tan & Wang, 1983: 393 (syn. nov.) (secondary homonym of Parascela tuberosa ( Jacoby, 1887) . Remark. Studying the types stored in IOZ, we found that P. tuberosa Tan & Wang, 1983 has no differences from Basilepta rugipennis Tan, 1988 . All the type specimens of both species are females collected in Yunnan. All of them have an entirely glabrous body, black colouration with three basal antennal segments brown and middle part of femora contrasting red, narrow, subquadrate pronotum with one tooth on each side and tuberculate elytra ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13–18 ). We transfer B. rugipennis to the genus Parascela , and P. tuberosa is its new synonym because of homonymy with P. tuberosa ( Jacoby, 1887) .
