96422!, isolectotypes A!, P [2 sheets]!).― Syntype: SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRANADINES. In vallibus et sylvis in latere Windward dicto communis, 170–500 m, April–June, Smith 246 ( B [destroyed]) .
Distribution:— America. Caribbean: Cuba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Notes:— This species has not been found again on the island of Cuba. Acalypha vincentina View in CoL was described from Saint Vincent Island, in the Lesser Antilles. After studying the type collections, we did not find sufficient differences to distinguish it from A. leptorhachis .
