03F687AC9A4DFFADFF0BFF14FD6AC876.taxon	materials_examined	Type material. Holotype: male (IZCAS), labelled “ China: Yunnan Province, Pu’er City, 1957. VI. 12, leg. Shuyong Wang ” (Fig. 1 a). Amended description. General color dark brown (Fig. 1 b). Tergum 5 lobe subtriangular with a bilobed apex, extending to mid-length of tergum 7 and tip of hemitergal lobe, in lateral view, the apex appearing as a large hook, dark sensilla basiconica present along posterior margins of the lobe (Figs. 1 c – f). Hemitergal lobe branched: the upper branch is short and has a row of dark sensilla basiconica along inner margins, and the lower branch in dorsal view is blade-shaped, and in lateral view, it is S-shaped in outline, with sensilla basiconica occurring only at apex (Figs. 1 c, e).	en	Zhang, Rui, Dong, Miao, Li, Weihai (2025): Additions to the genus Agnetina Klapálek, 1907 (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China, with a new synonym. 03F687AC9A4DFFADFF0BFF14FD6AC876.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Agnetina duplistyla (Wu, 1962) was previously known only from the original descriptions and a single illustration of terminalia in dorsal view. The male of this species is externally characterized by hemitergal lobes with lower branch in dorsal view being blade-shaped bearing apical sensilla basiconica and an elongated, subtriangular, bilobed apex of tergum 5 lobe which is hooked in lateral view and covered by many sensilla basiconica. The original drawing, especially the dorsal outline of the hemitergal lobe, agrees well with our new color illustrations of the holotype (Figs. 1 c, e, f). The large triangular pattern of tergum 5 in the type is much faded (Fig. 1 b – c) but the distal margin of the triangle is still distinct (Fig. 1 c).	en	Zhang, Rui, Dong, Miao, Li, Weihai (2025): Additions to the genus Agnetina Klapálek, 1907 (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China, with a new synonym. 03F687AC9A4FFFABFF0BF898FC0EC8F8.taxon	discussion	Remarks. Agnetina gladiata (Wu, 1962) was previously known only from the original description and illustrations. The male of this species is externally characterized by hemitergal lobes with ventrolateral row of sensilla basiconica and an enlarged spine near apex, and also by the two small separated posteromedial lobes of tergum 5 (Figs. 2 b – c, 3 a – c). The female is externally characterized by a tongue-shaped subgenital plate (Figs. 3 f). When we compared this species with other regional species, we found that its hemitergal lobes are identical with A. kryzhanovskii Sivec & Zhiltzova, 1997. In the original illustration of A. gladiata, the diagnostic enlarged subapical spine of the hemitergal lobe was not mentioned (Wu 1962), and descriptive comparison was not conducted because of language difference. We subsequently also found these two species were collected from the same county (Jingdong = Czindun) of Yunnan Province, and the holotype of A. gladiata (Wu, 1962) was even collected at the same locality (Dongjiafen = Dunuzjafin) as four paratypes (3 males and 1 female) of A. kryzhanovskii during the end of May to the beginning of June. These data indicate that the types of these two species were collected from the same field trip in the Chinese-Soviet Zoological Expedition to Southwestern China 1956, headed by Prof. Liu Tsung-lo (Institute of Entomology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing) (Bey-Bienko, 1957). Therefore, we consider that A. kryzhanovskii is a subjective junior synonyms of A. gladiata.	en	Zhang, Rui, Dong, Miao, Li, Weihai (2025): Additions to the genus Agnetina Klapálek, 1907 (Plecoptera: Perlidae) from China, with a new synonym.
